It is released as an open source project under the terms of the Q public license version 1.0. Please read the license, as you'll be bound to it. If you disagree with the license terms, don't use the software. But feel free to complain about undue restrictions, we might see what we can do for you.

Getting it and making it

We're pretty fresh on the server, so there is no prepacked tarball for now. If you like to test the thing, check it out of the CVS, adapt the settings in the toplevel Makefile, cross your fingers and say make.

And please do not forget to mail me any outcome of your heroic attempt!

And by the way, did I mention that you will need a somewhat up-to-date version of Qt, configured with -thread (to get libqt-mt.so), the Open Inventor or some faithfull clone of it, and last but not least SoQt, the glue between the two? Gotta Catch 'Em All!

Again, if you succeed in building the program, please let me know. And if it fails to build, drop me a note including the circumstances (system, compiler, whatever). One thorough bug report is of more value than a thousand unsatisfied but silent users.
